How Do Chemists Describe Matter?

They can describe matter lots of different ways. ย Right now 6th graders in Russo’s science class are learning about weight and how it is different from mass. ย Mass is a measure of how much stuff is in an object and weight is the force that object applys due to the force of gravity. ย Change gravity and the force changes… but the mass will stay the same no matter where you are.

Later on, we dive into volume and then the biggie… density.
